Le Roseau Initiative Requests Your Help In Supporting LeRoseau - School of Knowledge for All. (Ecole le Savoir pour Tous de Le Roseau)

As an integral part of our mission to improve the well-being of the children of Haiti through education, Le Roseau Initiative has made a commitment to work with Ecole le Savoir pour Tous de Le Roseau and help them secure funding to cover the tuition of their students. To that end, we ask that you help with a donation.

The Benefits of Your Support

Beyond the benefits to the individual student, educating the youth of Haiti will have a broader impact. Over time, securing a quality education for children will change the fabric of the country, ultimately having an exponential impact on the future of Haiti. The rate of illiteracy will be reduced considerably in the country. The country will have a new generation with educated people that can assume their responsibilities. Instead of going to the Dominican Republic to work in plantation fields or to take an illegal voyage through the Bahamas, Providenciales, they will be trained to be contributing members of society and serve in their country. The rate of children who will be forced to work as domestics (restaveks) living away from home because their parents can’t afford to support them, will decrease. Juvenile delinquency will decline.
