About Us

Le Roseau Initiative is focused on creating self-sufficiency across a broad spectrum of the population by providing human and financial resources in order to enable Haitians to develop their own world-class education within their society. As we see it, education is the best tool to advance the culture. We believe this philosophy will have an exponential impact on the future of the country and the lives of its citizens.

From elementary education of an individual child, to educating medical professionals to care for children, Le Roseau envisions ultimately creating a continuum of education that will improve the lives of the underserved youth of Haiti. To that end, we will look to develop partnerships with governments and grassroots organizations in the region, as well as international organizations. Our technical advice and assistance, and our funding, will enable us to work with multiple partners and create a network that will implement specific programs designed to strengthen the communities and families of Haiti by enhancing their ability to educate, care for and, ultimately, protect their children.
